DirectionsThe Museum is located in Fredericksburg’s Historic District, halfway between Washington, DC, and Richmond, Virginia. From Interstate 95, take Exit 130A for Route 3 East. Follow Route 3 East for approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light for William Street. Turn left onto William Street and follow the signs for approximately 1 mile to the Historic District. The Museum is located at the intersection of William and Princess Anne streets. ParkingParking in the Historic District is available within walking distance to the Museum. A free municipal lot is located at the intersection of Sophia and George streets. The City’s parking garage, on the corner of Sophia and Wolfe streets, offers the first two hours complimentary, and charges $1.00 for each additional hour, with a maximum charge of $8.00 per day. Street parking is available throughout the downtown area and is limited to two hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. For visitors with disabilities, parking is available at the Fredericksburg Baptist Church lot located in the 1000 block of Princess Anne Street. |
