Become a part of Fredericksburg history for generations to come!

In fall 2007 FAMCC began a new program that offers the community a chance to participate in the making of local history. For a donation of $200, you can have your name, or that of someone you would like to honor, engraved on a brick that will be placed in a path surrounding the Museum's new facility. The brick sidewalks guide our visitors inside the Museum to learn more about the stories connecting our past to our present. With your contribution to A Path to History, your personal history and memories can become part of our community's larger story.
Your gift to the Museum will support our efforts to preserve and share the Fredericksburg area's history and culture.  Be part of the dedication to the long term sustainability of our community by purchasing a brick today!
If you are not currently a member, your brick purchase entitles you to a year-long Pathway membership with the Museum.  If you are a current Museum member, the purchase of a brick includes a complimentary Pathway membership for you to give as a gift to a friend or loved one.  A Pathway Membership includes:
  • Free admission to the Museum for one year for all family members at the same address
  • 10% discount in the Museum Store
  • Subscription to our quarterly newsletter, Windows on History
  • Invitations to members-only events and receptions
  • Inclusion in the Time Travelers Network, which offers free or discounted admission to more than 200 museum's nationwide
There is no end date for a brick purchase. Placement of bricks is on a first come, first served basis. Please download an order form and reserve your place in history today!
