Anne Rowe Endowment Fund
FAMCC established the Anne Rowe endowment fund in honor of the legacy of Anne Rowe, a dear friend and past Chairman of the Board. 
The Anne Rowe Endowment Fund will support our efforts to enhance staff education at the Museum.  Museum staff participation in programs such as seminars and workshops sponsored by the American Association of Museums or the Virginia Association of Museums gives the staff a chance to learn what is cutting-edge in the museum field.  It is critical that the staff remain up-to-date with the latest museum practices in order to keep the Museum relevant in changing economic and cultural times.  Over the years staff members have benefited from programs on conservation, fundraising, finances, museum education and programming, as well as other related topics. 
Income from the endowment fund will allow the Museum Director to give deserving employees the opportunity to invest in their education.  It will also allow the staff to apply those skills to the effective and successful management of the Museum and its programs.
