Home Education Overview

The mission of the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center’s education department is to provide inquiry-based, educative experiences for adults and youth, which are interactive, hands-on and engaging. Programs strive to communicate our local history and contemporary culture while creating a link from the past to the Fredericksburg region’s culturally diverse present. It is our objective to provide greater physical and intellectual access to the Museum's collections through the creation of dialogues between visitors and objects.
