Home Education & Public Programs Overview

The mission of the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center’s education department is to provide inquiry-based experiences for adults and youth, which are interactive, hands-on and engaging. Programs communicate our local history and contemporary culture while creating a link from the past to the Fredericksburg region’s culturally diverse present.  For educators, these programs are directly linked to the Virginia Standards of Learning.
